Can't seem to find a definitive answer anywhere, but are Chapter 35 educational benefits reset for every dependent child? I've looked through Title 38, Part III, Ch. 35, but find nothing besides "not in excess of 36 months" for "each eligible person" under Ch.35, subchapter 2, 3511-- duration of educational assistance. It doesn't specify if multiple dependents each get the full benefit or is it split amongst them?
It’s not split up like transferring the post 9/11 GI bill is if that’s what you are asking. Each gets the full 36 months. So if you have one kid or ten, they'll all get 36 months Each.
If my spouse uses Ch 35 benefits, do I continue to collect the monthly increase in my VA payment for them being my spouse? Or does that stop while the dependent/spouse uses the Ch 35 benefit? I am receiving conflicting answers on this.. Thanks!
While your spouse is using benefits it does not affect your disability compensation. When your children use the benefit they drop off as a dependent for disability.

We really need help, because every person understands what it means to be a student! When I was in medical college, I always asked the service for help help with writing nursing paper, because I knew that I couldn’t get anywhere without help. It's always good to feel like you have someone to rely on in difficult situations!
