Community Care over billing the VA; $101M

Vets are only 1% of the population, imagine what HealthNet et al are doing to the remainder of the citizens.

that's a lot of over billing
the switch from UHC to Health Net at the beginning of the year was painful- they knew in Oct that they were getting the contract, but didn't do anything for the transition (or so it seemed) HealthNet was "allowing" people to keep their PCM even if they weren't in network, no referrals, and no out of network costs until June. the other thing that hit not long ago- increase in co-pay.
it's so "fun" to get a bill from your PCM for past appointment co-pay underpayments. (sarcasm)

I agree. There is the other side of the equation also: Slow and/or no pay to legitimate claims filed by providers. Also the hoops the insurance companies make you hope through, hoping you will just give up on being paid as a provider or getting needed care as a patient.
