Hello Andrewplatinum82,

Case.

My high 3 is 5200.
I am finishing a medical retirement with 17 years of AD and 21 years of Total service. [you did not mention if you have 20 good years and whether the 17 years included active duty equivalent]
My VA disability is 100%.
My Army rating is 50%.
My CRSC is 60%. [1,311.68 + (2 @ 51) = 1413.68
I am married with 3 children under 18. [amount needed too. 3,406.04 + (2 @ 86.05 ) = 3578.14]
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Estimate.

1. 5200 x 0.50 = 2600 reduced to zero by amount of VA compensation
2. 17 active duty years (assumed to include any active duty equivalent) x 0.025 = 42.5% longevity multiplier
3. 5200 x 0.425 = 2210 longevity portion of retirement
4. Approved CRSC is 60%. [1,311.68 + (2 @ 51) = 1413.68

Your CRSC based on the info you provided is 1413.68. If you have 20 good years, you will qualify for CRDP once you meet the reserve age requirement. That amount based on the info you provided is 2210.
