Hello,
Can anyone help estimate my CRSC payment? I know DFAS had a calculator, but it either won’t load or no longer exists. Here are my details:
My VA Disability is 100%. DOD Disability: 80%. My CRSC was just approved for 70%. I had 16 yrs and 11 months. Married with 3 children under 18 and 2 college children as well. My high 3 averages $4100.

Thank you in advance.

  1. 3352.40 + 2@ 84.69 + 2@ 273.58 = 4068.94 100% VA comp with new tables
  2. 4100 x 75% max DoD = 3075 retired pay ...all waived due to VA comp @ item one
  3. Active duty (inferred) 16.916 years x 2.5% = 42.29% multiplier (note if 16 yrs 11 mo is not AD, this estimate is inaccurate)
  4. 4100 x 42.29% = 1733.89 dollar amount of longevity portion of retired pay
  5. CRSC @70% 1609.71 + 2@ 59 + 2@ 191 = 2109.71
  6. Item 4 is less than item 5; therefore, CRSC = 1733.89
Based on the info you provided and an inference that your 16.916 years are active duty or active duty equivalent, your CRSC will be $1733.89
