Referred to IDES for Lumbosacral Spine degenerative arthritis & disc disease, intervertebral disc syndrome, spinal stenosis; Grade 1 retrolisthesis; sclerosis; Disc bulge; annular fissure.

Thanks for the info. I’m about one month behind you. 19 yrs 5 mos TIS. Here’s my current timeline. I’m still waiting on my NARSUM. I expected to have it by now.

8 NOV: MRDP Reached

3DEC: Contacted by VA MSC
16DEC: First VA appt

Nice. Congratulations. After you signed DA199, during your leave counseling how many days did you give yourself before starting terminal leave? In other words is there a minimum number of days you need to wait for orders and clear?

My ETS leave balance as per my LES was 77days the day I signed my 199.

I knew my NLT date was roughly 90 days away and I don’t want to extend that NLT date. So I had only 13 days to clear.

13 days was more than enough as long as you get a CIF appt the second you sign the 199.

I’d say 10 days would be the sweet spot because CIF appointments can take a few days, getting orders takes a few, then certain briefs are only once a week.
