On December 1st 2018 I injured my shoulder on an airborne jump and since I failed all physical therapy I was recommended to MEB for shoulder instability and loss of range of motion. Here’s my timeline so far..

Met with ortho- Mar 21st
FFD Exam - Mar 22nd
Referral by PCM- apr 15th
VA claims -May 7th
C&P - May 15th & 20th
Met with MEB doc - June 4th
Met with legal to go over Narsum and met with Peblo to sign DA 3947 - June 27th

Now it’s a waiting game I guess. My MEB doc did say my case was clear cut and I only had 5 conditions with the VA so fingers crossed.

Logged into VA.gov today and noticed my claim was closed on July 19th, now just waiting on my 199

Update.. signing my 199 this Tuesday July 30th, anyone know how long until I can go on terminal leave?

After I signed my 199, it took about 10 days for me to get my NLT date. I was told I would be hard pressed to start leave in 2 weeks, but the transition office has to send my stuff to HRC for orders.

From the day I signed my 199, I start terminal/transition leave 30 days later.

I am planning to sign my 199 on 01 Aug. TRANSPOC will issue a 90 day NLT date, 30 Oct.
Questions;
With 20 days PTDY and 45 days leave.
Can I take 45 days to clear the army, 20 days PTDY, and 25 days of Transition Leave? (I lose 10 days and I'm ok with that)
Can I take 20 days PTDY, 15 days Ordinary Leave, 10 days to clear the army, and then 35 days Terminal Leave?
