Just getting this started. FYSA, Ft. Bragg was one of, if not the best base when it came to MEBs, having an average turnaround of five-ish months from start to DA199. Due to their performance and expediency, in true Army fashion, they have been rewarded by an influx of MEBs from surrounding bases. Thus, expect to wait approximately six to eight weeks + (was 2-4 weeks), from PCM P3/MEB recommendation to second P3 signature and MEB initiation.

18 NOV - Ortho referred for MEB.

04 DEC - PCM pushes P3 recommendation/MEB.

?? ??? - - Second Signature signed-MRDP reached and MEB initiated.

I was referred in March and just received my DA199 on 11DEC. My case took a little longer than usual.

Any think I can do once this gets started to make my process go smoothly, I’m trying to do a Skillbridge after my VA exams

It's out of your hands at this point. Just try and hold your pleblo, msc, and VA contractor accountable for timelines.

What contractor did you have for your exams? You should have your narsum back by now I feel.

VES. Supposedly the average wait time is about 2-3 weeks? So frustrating there's no transparency and timelines are all "flexible." Could be 2 weeks, could be 2 months...

My buddy and I started on the same day, he has ves, I have optumserve. All my DBQs are uploaded on Tricare, his aren't and he finished his exams a week before me. I want to be on terminal leave by May, but I'm not hopeful at this point.

when did you start? where did you check to find your DBQs? dude same here! i'm sweating a little bit because i'm enrolled in school starting July 8th out in California, and i have a ridiculous amount of leave piled up...

My timeline is above. My last VA exam was about a week after yours. You can find you DBQs on Tricare online of all places, under documents. I have over 90 days at this point so I'm going to have to sell some. You should be done before school starts.

just checked tricare online this morning and coincidentally the last DBQ was uploaded 26MAR so had to be right before i logged on lol. hope the NARSUM will follow shortly after now.

It took them 20 days to upload the last one? I been calling around asking them wtf my last ones are, nobody can tell me.. this waiting is the absolute worst and there's only more to come, .

After some detective work on my end I discovered that optumserve lied to me last week when I called to ask if everything was completed and uploaded in their end. After some digging I found the discrepancy and kindly asked them to correct it, quickly. They obliged, tho they would not acknowledged or explain how the oversight occurred. The DBQs were filled out appropriately, however there are a bunch of discrepancies between treatment records, discussions during the exams and several range of motion measurements.
