Fort Gordon SEP2019 timeline

so my official unfit for duty memo was done on 20NOV. Since then its been at the VA rating office. I claimed 23 things, but only 2 are the issues with my back that got me here. My PEBLO said i probably wouldn't get my ratings back until after the new year but im hoping. That would be a good Christmas gift.

My memo was verified received on 9DEC19 by the VA. I'll be happy if they even start my claim this month. I am expect to receive my ratings back around the end of January. A guy I know said his memo was received by the VA but it took them two weeks after they received it to begin his claim. It took him 6 weeks in total for it to be sent back to the PEB.

Any updates?

Checked my Ebenefits this morning. I'm still at the "preparation for decision" stage. They've had my stuff since the 9th of December. CMS says the Army Average is 25 days. I imagine that, because of the holidays, things will be a little delayed. Still hoping for my findings by the middle-end of January.

Same here. What about your VA.gov status?

Hey guys...

VA.gov sent me a letter on the dec 29. I haven't gotten it yet and when I log onto ebenefits to see it still says that im in the evidence gathering stage. anyone know what I should do to find my ratings?

That doesn't mean your ratings are complete. I got sent a letter during that time frame asking me to add my dependents. I had to fill out a 21-686c-ARE and drop it off to my MSC.

To add to the timelines for Army.

April 2019 - Diagnosis
Late April 2019 - P3 profile
June 2019 - First contact from IDES and PEBLO
July 2019 - C&P exams
August 2019 - IMR requested
November 2019 - IMR response received and appeal submit.
Late November 2019 - appeal, appeal response and soldier impact statement sent to PEB
Early December 2019 - Found unfit by peb, memo sent to VA
Late December 2019 - (13 days later) VA acknowledge receipt of the PEB memo.

I'm really hoping to hear back soon. My MEB was really messed up. I'm in the process of submitting a congressional inquiry and Inspector general complaint with extremely detailed notes. To include literal fraud by the MEB.

So I read through a lot of people's stuff this week. I took some advice on the forums. I found out what regional center had my paperwork. Then I contacted my congressman regarding the situation. I explained that the entire MEB situation was a nightmare and how my unit can't get another person even though I'm a known loss because of how staffing is done. In less than 24 hours my congressman gave me a letter from the VA with their proposed numbers. The VA said that they sent it to my PEBLO as well. My congressman also offered to follow up with the PEB to make sure they have all the information they need from the VA.

So, do your due diligence and use everything at your disposal. My proposed is 100% service connected. I'll give a full update when I get my 199 and separate.

Also at Fort Gordon, I signed my 199 right around the same time. You get an email with a counseling packet for you commander yet? Supposedly that has your NLT 90 days date. I'm frustrated given it's supposed to take around 10 days for this step and it's getting close to 30.
