Hey! quick question, did you ask for the referral or was it triggered by your permanent profile? I am in Gordon as well and I have been referred to MEB last week. I don't have a perm. profile.

Initially it was just 1. But they added around 4-5 that were related to the initial referred condition throughout the MEB process.

Good evening,

I spoke to my PCM about three weeks ago because I had surgery on April 21, 2022 on my foot where they installed a plate and screws and I requested a P3 in June for my foot. I opened up my profile this morning and a P3 was added yesterday with a statement on my profile stating referred to MEB. What should I do at this point?

Wait a couple days. A PEBLO should reach out to you shortly. It sometimes takes a bit for the files to get to them, and there are only 2 PEBLOs for all of Ft Jackson. If you haven’t heard anything in about a week, reach back out here. I can shoot you the info for the administrative assistant in the PEBLO office.

Hello, I just had an MEB initiated by my psychologist for my mental health conditions. I see the timeline(s) everyone has, but how is mental health weighted percentage wise for the DOD? For the VA I have numerous muscular skeletal, GI, and other physical conditions. Would they be done with the DOD or with the VA?

TIA.

In terms of MH or any other claim, they are all rated according to the VA. the only difference is that DOD rates the conditions that are unfitting and VA has more room to give a higher percentage bc they can give percentages to fitting conditions as well. THat's why VA ratings are typically higher when you see the DOD%/VA% that people post
