GI Bill transfer of benefits

[Officer] I'm planning to waive my right to a Board of Inquiry, as my CoC has initiated discharge proceedings under AF 36-3206, citing a mental health diagnosis impairing ability to fulfill duty. This means I will resign under AFI 36-3207 paragraph 2D.

On the GI Bill transfer, it mentions that the Active Duty Service Commitment will be deemed complete if I'm discharged for mental health. But if I'm actually resigning rather than going to the board, would this affect the GI bill transfer? Specifically 7d of the transfer agreement is what I was hoping to leverage. I have completed 7 years of service and my resignation should lead to an honorable discharge.
