I just heard from someone that the BCNR is not going to be at work processing paperwork and cases for the next 5 weeks due to this virus outbreak. Is this true?

DUE TO THE CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) PUBLIC HEALTH EMERGENCY ALL FEDERAL RECORDS CENTERS ARE CLOSED FOR ROUTINE ACTION. THIS CLOSURE MAY AFFECT THE TIMELINESS OF NEW APPLICATIONS RECEIVED. ALL CURRENT REQUESTS CONTINUE TO PROCESS TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT POSSIBLE DURING THIS PUBLIC HEALTH EMERGENCY.
IF YOUR APPLICATION IS AFFECTED BY THIS PROCESS, YOUR APPLICATION WILL BE CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. ONCE FEDERAL RECORDS CENTERS’ OPERATIONS RESUME, YOUR APPLICATION WILL BE OPENED AND YOU WILL BE MAILED YOUR APPLICATION (DOCKET) NUMBER.

So atleast the ones that were already there and being processed are still being processed. Just not the ones submitted during this covid-19 stuff.
