So does anybody have Feb time lines?

Meb start: 1 SEPT 2010
Meb finish: Jan 15 2011
Sent to AFPC: JAN 18 2011
Recieved at AFPC: JAN 2011
Sent back to Peblo: Still waiting.....

Was your case sent back to the PEBLO for needing additional info or was your board complete and the findings sent back to your PEBLO?

JAN TIMELINE
Hospitilized OCT-DEC 10
Local Board - 19JAN11 "refer to informal"
Sent to AFPC - 21JAN11
And waiting....

Basically that is what I was told from my PEBLO, who was right on. My package came back at 10 wks and 3 days, others that had their packages sent in Dec have been seeing the same timeline. Now if you are going through the Pilot Program your timeline will be longer since your package has to go through the VA and they take a while; I am not sure what they are timelined at since my base has not switched over and I went through the AFPC only system.

I talked with the MEB office here and they sent an email to AFPC asking about timelines. We were told they are processing cases in 4-5 weeks. My package was signed in at the board on 5 Feb so I am looking at next week or the week after.

What do you mean signed at the board? Is that when afpc signed for your meb package or after the peb personal made the decision? Please keep us updated thanks!

Signed in as in they acknowledged that they had the package and the process started. My MEB office told me that it can take them anywhere from a day or two up to a week or so to get the package and sign it in. Hope that helps everyone out there.

Is the timeline for local MEB or the IPEB? My local MEB took 2 days I'm just waiting on IPEB and was told 2-4 months.

That is the timeline for the IPEB. This is what was relayed to me through my MEB office. I know they were running 2-4 months but they are apparently moving cases faster right now.

That would be great mine was mailed on 14 feb but i'm overseas and don't know how long it owuld take to get IPEB. I was hoping it would be faster than 2-4 months. According to regs I was supposed to be boarded within 90 days of dx (Cardiomyopathy/Congestive heart failure) but it has already been 9 months.

My peblo told me that they cant track it so how did you find out who to call? Do you have contact information? They told me that they wont know anything until the decision comes back and then i have 10 days to agree or not. I'm at Ramstein and so ready to just get it over with and go home. I was mad at first but you get treated so different and with my condition i don't look sick so people are always assuming i just don't want to work. I have had all responsibilities taken away and have people lower ranking that i now have to answer to. It's just so frustrating. I know they will probably give me 30% because of the narsum but i have had new complications and could easily get 60% but i don't think i will pursue because i just want to go.

Your PEBLO can't track it, but AFPC does. If your package has been with AFPC for a while (about 6 wks) and you have not heard anything, just ask your PEBLO to call AFPC and get a status. It keeps you and your PEBLO in the loop on time and what is going on with your package.

Yes your PEBLO can get information from AFPC they just have to want to do their job and care about the people they are working with. I am lucky that I have an awesome SrA over at the PEBLO office that will answer all my questions and take time to get an answer for any question I may have. Trust me I know what its like to get any answers from them. The MSgt that runs that office is beyond worthless and screwed so many people over while she was on leave and at ALS. If it was only him that worked the packages it would take a year or so to get anything submitted to AFPC. So make some calls tomorrow and let them know that you would greatly appreciate some assistance concerning your case and your future.

I had that same SrA at Spangdahlem while I was going through the PEB (we'll refrain from using names). She proves there are a few good PEBLOs out there. I also had the MSgt you refer to while she was at ALS/leave. It was like pulling teeth to get him to do his job. Fortunately my package was already done before she went on leave and I was just waiting the results. Turns out, he had the results from AFPC for a week before he notified me...

To everyone else: You'd be surprised of the info your PEBLO CAN get, when they do their job.

I'm sitting at 11 weeks right now. Don't get too anxious and pin your hopes on 4-5 weeks.

Yes we will refrain from any names but the SrA has done an amazing job. It may take a few hours to get a hold of her but I can forgive her since she is doing the work of two. The MSgt that will remain nameless really screwed some people over. You were lucky that he only neglected to call you about your results. He had 11 packages overdue and 3 of those just needed the members signature and off to AFPC. Needless to say I am not a big fan of his and neither are a lot of other people. I did hear that he is getting an Article 15 for dereliction of duty.
