May 2018 referred to MEB
NOV 9 2018 Referred to OIDES PEB
Jan14 2019 warranted
Mar 14 2019 arrive to states
June 28 2019 refered to MEB
August 26 2019 C&Ps
November 14 2019 last C&P
January 16 2020 Package submitted to PEB
January 27 2020 pack edge accepted by PEB

Going through this process I must say it’s really really slow and time consuming.

This process is definitely a long one. Take a look at this and the navy timeline forum and find some other Marines / Sailors around your timeline (1-2 weeks prior to you). When they get their VA ratings back and get their proposed dispositions, you can use that as an estimate to when you will get yours.

Best of luck to you and keep your head up.

This site has been very handy and everyone’s case is different. The proposed timelines are fairly accurate, but I still have several questions in regards to my timeline.

how long does it take:
PEB to VA
VA to PEB
PEB to SM
SM accepts: sends to PEB
PEB to HQMC

“”””or””” when can i assume I would EAS at the earliest or latest.
in other news: I was told that the entire process will soon be via electronic, not that it isn’t now, but even more electronic to a T and dotted i. I will say coming from overseas there is a lot of time not calculated for MEB. I took roughly 9 months 270 days or so just for MEB, that’s with bugging and staying on the DOD.

Overall, I do not expect this process to go fast, but it needs to get better, along with post military services.

I was a test case for the all electronic, it did not go any faster and only would impact the MEB phase. All electronic, just meant everyone entered everything on the same PDF that was sent back and forth using digital signatures. My command wasn't able to submit their NMA until after my VA appointments were returned to the PEBLO, so it slowed it down slightly there, normally the NMA can be worked at the same time as the VA appts. It also, meant that my command could see the initial write up from medical, which was able to give them a little more perspective on my condition (it was not all just coming from me).

I am Navy. Hopefully my timeline provides a little reference.
Mid June I was referred to IDES process
July completed C&P exams
Sep 12 File submitted to the PEB
Nov 8 VA received from PEB
Dec 5 VA sent ratings back to PEB
Jan 28 Signed Findings
Feb 11 Still waiting on message to be released with my TDRL Date

(Estimated date: July 31, 2020

We base this on claims similar to yours. It isn’t an exact date )

(Estimated date :“”” was originally saying September 2020”””)

February 26, 2020 awaiting findings and singers to PEB for EAS adjustment.

I have 55 days on books to include 20 days PTAD.

based on my time line when should I expect to get out?

Does EAS get based off leave days in books?

Does the update to claim indicate VA sent ratings to PEB?

It’s hard to know exactly what’s changing but something is happening. You can call the va in Rhode Island and ask where things are. They are nice and very helpful 4012233700

So I am currently stationed in Okinawa and my medical officer is starting the process with getting the paperwork started for a MEB for separation. Did you get sent back to the states because you’re pending separation or was their another reason?

I did OIDES, they weed out people who don’t meet MEB/PEB in states in Okinawa then get orders to do IDES in states. Hope this helps
