Just to follow up on my situation, my CRDP issue is still ongoing. After many phone calls to DFAS, HRC, and PDA, I found out that my retirement points on my retirement order submitted by my organization did not match the number of points as determined by my RPAM statement. HRC apparently just pushed it forward without catching it and then DFAS just kicked it back into "space" somewhere. DFAS said they had the corrected order but they couldn't process it without it first going to HRC. I asked HRC about the situation and they said they needed a copy of that order because they didn't have it. I called DFAS to obtain a copy and they stated they could not send me a copy. I called PDA who originally was involved in asking for the correction. They stated they had a copy but they couldn't send me a copy either. At which time, I asked, "how am i supposed to fix this?" After about 30 minutes on the phone with the supervisor, PDA emailed me a copy through the SAFE process. I sent the copy along with all the other supporting documentation back to HRC and my CRDP application has started from the beginning again. It would have been helpful if my organization would have submitted the corrected order to HRC when they received it many months ago but apparently, they didn't think (I don't know why) it needed to go to HRC. For everyone out there, just know that the saying "you are your own best records clerk" changes when you retire to "you are your only records clerk" - LOL. Patience may be a virtue (one I don't have) but patience will also cause you to wait for a process that may not be happening. I told soldiers that selfless service is the mainstay of a career but when you retire, you have to become a little selfish. Hope all my brothers and sisters are well!
