More than one episode of acute congestive heart failure in the past year,
or; workload of greater than 3 METs but not greater than 5 METs
results in dyspnea, fatigue, angina, dizziness, or syncope, or;

left ventricular dysfunction with an ejection fraction of 30 to
50 percent

My husband's ejection fraction is 52%. Would the VA round to the nearest ten?
 
The VA will not round an ejection fraction of 52 down to 50.
 
What is his Metabolic Equivalent of Tasks (METs)?
 
What is his Metabolic Equivalent of Tasks (METs)?
He hasn’t had any stress tests done yet. His heart rate is naturally low; it’s what’s called an athlete’s heart rate. I’m curious to know if anything would remarkable would show up.
 
MET is usually estimated by the VA. It is based on what he can and can not do with his heart condition.
