med board/reenlistment

I got put on a med board about 2 weeks ago and I told me peblo I didn't want to get out that the dr is over reacting and this and that however I have full plans to finish out my 20 years as im over half way there. Can I reenlist while on a med board or do I have to wait until they find me fit for duty im 99% sure they will find me fit for duty as I passed ncoes school and pt test within the past 2 months.

Typically when you are referred to a MEB, you are flagged for reenlistment. If you are nearing your ETS, the career counselor can extend your enlistment for the purposes of the medical evaluation board.

im not flagged at all. I still have 8 months left on my contract.

If you are on a Med Board. You have a code 37. That prevents TDY/PCS or reenlisting until the MEB is complete.
