Medboard Timeline (Walter Reed)

Yea man I’m still trying to figure out when my case is going to get processed. It was sent to the VA on Sep 5th and was assigned a rater on Oct 18th so hopefully by next week I’ll get some rating back
Have you confirmed that it was assigned an "INDIVIDUAL" rater and not a rating "TEAM"? Cause I'm about 5 days behind you from when my claims were sent to the VA. Apparently once your rating team has assigned an individual rater things are super close.

So mine has been with a rating team for quite a while now, apparently nothing actually gets rated until an individual rater is assigned.

So just got off the phone with the VA via the 1000 number. lol apparently I contacted the right person because her and I got into it and things got a little heated at the beginning of the phone call but in a nutshell I mistook how taken back she was by the clear lack of concern for my case from my MSC for sarcasm because she ended up putting a note in the system flagging my MSC and attaching an expediting order for my case. Not saying this will work for everybody but after they saw how many times I had called in and numerous notes on my case she was pissed for me and said the one liners and lack of communication by my MSC was absolutely unacceptable. Hopefully my ratings will be expedited and a decision reached soon.

Shoot, lemme send you my info so you can gripe them out for me LOL

lmao listen….you how many times and for how long I’ve been calling the VA…during most of the call I was still skeptical until she explained that she couldn’t make any promises that my case would get processed sooner but she did ensure that there are a higher level sent of eye on my particular case which will put a fire under my MSC’s ass which is all I ask

Anyone have any tips on how to get the VA to send me my proposed ratings? I’ve called about 10 times and keep getting the “you’re in IDES and have to go through your PEBLO” answer. Thought I would have found someone that didn’t give a $hit and just send them by now. My PEBLO won’t tell me and my MSC is out of the office this week.

I've heard you can mention you see it in the app but it wont let you open it.

My case still doesn’t show anything on the VA app but when I call the VA they say the case is closed but they haven’t generated a letter yet. I’m going to try again tomorrow because my MSC told me that info was only for the PEB and not to be given to me.

Was finally able to get a copy of my proposed ratings letter by calling it took me about 12 different people to finally get somebody to send me it. I had to let them know I wasn’t gonna be able to receive mail and then asked if she could email me it and she did but everybody else said you have to get it from your PEBLO.

Yep, somebody needed to check them. I know a lot people were afraid to put them in check due to fear of negative pushback for their individual cases and your case potentially taking longer etc etc but honestly how they’re treating us is just unacceptable. We all served our countries honorably and I’m sure most of didn’t plan on getting out due to a disability that was caused by or aggravated due to serving our country. There should be a higher standard on how they treat us because as of now the IDES process stinks and everybody knows it.
