Medboard Timeline (Walter Reed)

I’ve been sitting at the VA stage for 71 days…. Found unfit at the PEB on Sep 16. Has anyone’s rating taken this long? My lawyer told me yesterday that 70 days is longer than normal but not uncommon… idk i’ve lost all hope checking everyday for VA ratings
Yea, I’m here with you. Just cleared 60 days beginning of the week at the VA stage. Lawyer said the same thing, I am outside standard time frame but not enough to be worried. Sucks…I was hoping to be clear of holiday

There is a VA monday morning workload report. It has information that tells you the average days to complete rating based on the regional office location. Its not much but could see if you are above or below average times right now.

Scroll down to the bottom to access the Monday morning workload report. I believe we (IDES) fall under the BBD category so select BDD for mission selector and then select your district (north east).

Sorry if this isn't helpful, just something I came across for myself about a week ago and thought I'd share.

Yes @IamDoneee I’m probably the most known case on here for how long mine took, I was at the VA waiting on ratings for almost 80 days. Just be patient. The fact that we’re going into the holidays doesn’t help either and is probably why you still haven’t heard anything back yet. You’ll more than likely hear something back in December. Just be patient your time will come like the rest of us.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I called the VA and they said my proposed ratings were finalized 11/21 but I’m not seeing my case closed on the app. Is that normal? I called them again to confirm lol and they said they were completed pending final review. Any one know what this means? Can I start asking for my letter?

What I have found from calling the VA is that they usually don’t know what they are talking about. Your case may be done but a rater needs to finalize that. Once it’s closed on the app then you should ask. But since it was finalized 11/21 it should be done the next few working days. That’s how it was for me. Mine was finalized on a Friday and then closed on a Wednesday

For the past month, i've been calling him at 9 exactly and it goes straight to voicemail, has anyone gotten in contact with him recently
Likely gone for the holidays, government tends to trash itself in December.

Where are you at in the process man? I remember your board running at the same time mine did, and I've been retired for 5 months.

Just called Jeff today at 8:10am and he answered he’s still working.
Good deal. Thanks for posting this. I feel bad for the guy, they should probably set up a generic DoD wide hotline to look into your case and tell you simple updates, or a simple tracker on a DoD site.

I called him as well. He just said that the backlog is around 400 for all those in QA. Idk how much they put out a day. But hopefully we’re near the end of this.

Approved DOS 26 December, all it took was emailing the PEBLO and them reaching out to the PEB action office and look, instant orders!
Congratulations! I hope I am right behind you! I signed my findings 21NOV2024.

Did your PEBLO screw up and allow the 15 days to expire with "presumptive" acceptance of your findings?

Wait…what??? This of course was after you signed your PEB findings right?
Yea I signed my 1180 on the 21st, apparently my retirement worksheet was just sitting on someone’s desk that’s why there hasn’t been orders. A quick call from my PEBLO to my PEB action officer got them orders ready within an hour lol

Gotcha, AF is a lot more efficient.
