Medical Retirement..

Hi I'm not sure if I'm asking a dumb question or not the right question but here it goes, I recently got my NLT date back from my PEBLO today. My NLT date is 03OCT2017. My question is can I actually move that date up without taking just leave? I only have about 20 leave days and my command will not give me PTDY. I am getting medically retired if that is of importance. Thanks.

The NLT date is only there to say that you HAVE to be complete (leave ends) and out of the military by that day at the very latest. Since you are being retired then you should have had a conversation with Retirement Services and set a date on when your Ceremony will be and when you will transition out. If you haven't then that is the office you need to go see and get it figured out with. They should be able to answer all your questions and if they can't then talk to your Transitions office also.
