Hello - I just receive my NARSUM and DA 3947 after they left off my PTSD diagnosis received via my C&P exam.

The DA 3947 says the PTSD diagnosis fails to meet retention standards; however, because I have excellent OERs and my commander is/was not aware of my mental health struggles (I can pull myself together for two days out of the month (Army Reserve)) the NARSUM says:
"A mental health referral was submitted by VAMC-Washington DC PCC in October 2023
due to escalating anxiety/stress. There is no evidence of prior/current psychiatric
treatment, medications, or hospitalizations. Though October 2023 Initial PTSD DBQ
notes occupational and social impairment with reduced reliability and productivity,
Commander’s Statement, DA Form 7652 dated July 2023, notes that SM
performs tasks and/or duties to standards and schedule has not been modified. The
Commander does not mention any mental health concerns. Additionally, the past serval
OERs have been excellent. These conditions (PTSD and Alcohol Use Disorder, Mild) thus meet retention standards."

I have an appointment with legal tomorrow morning, but I am concerned that the NARSUM remarks will have me found fit for duty for that condition which will effect my DoD rating. I do have additional conditions that also fail to meet retention standards, but I do not think they will get to the DoD 30% needed for Medical Retirement.

Is this something I could address in an IMR?

I'll have 20 good years in April 2024, if that matters for anything.

I could be wrong, but I am seeing this as two parts which can be addressed to help you.

Pt1 "There is no evidence of prior/current psychiatric
treatment, medications, or hospitalizations. Though October 2023 Initial PTSD DBQ
notes occupational and social impairment with reduced reliability and productivity,..."

-there is no paperwork other than the dbq available to the MEB

pt2 "Commander’s Statement, DA Form 7652 dated July 2023, notes that SM performs tasks and/or duties to standards and schedule has not been modified. The
Commander does not mention any mental health concerns. Additionally, the past serval
OERs have been excellent."

-you are doing "ok" based on the DoD's documents (evals, cmd statement).

Things to do:

Ask your commander to write a letter / resubmit an updated cmd letter, your spouse, coworkers, 1SG

Seek treatment and or get your documentation turned in if you have been seeking treatment.

Again, I may be misreading this.
