So my DA 3947 came back and listed the following as unfit/ fit conditions:

1. Right lower extremity compartment syndrome (unfit)
2. Left lower extremity compartment syndrome (unfit)
3. Right lower extremity fasciotomy - 2018 (unfit)
4. Chronic adjustment disorder with mixed anxiety/ depressed mood (fit)
5. TBI with loss of consciousness, mild to moderate (4 TBIs total) (fit)
6. Migraine headache/ secondary to TBI (fit)
7. Vitreous floaters, convergence insufficiency, photophobia, visual aura associated with migraines (fit)
8. Right wrist sprain (fit)
9. Endometriosis w/ 2018 surgery (fit)
10. Left salpingotomy and left fallopian tube torsion w/ 2017 surgery (fit)
11. Scars - right leg (8 in, 12 in) and abdomen (1 in, 1 in, 2 in, 1 in) (fit)

So two questions - 1. What do you all think the VA disability rating for all this will be? Not sure what to really expect since I've seen a lot of different numbers assigned to all of these conditions. 2. The doctor who examined me listed my endometriosis as currently not being treated (I'm currently taking medication to control it right now). Should I appeal that for the PEB or just wait and appeal that separately with the VA?

Thank you all in advance!

Well to be honest as far as what your rating will be you can kind of guesstimate based off your C&P results to the CFRs listed by the VA.

As far as appealing goes, it is entirely up to you, and I am kind of in the same boat with my Sleep Apnea, my exam stated that I took a sleep study, have a CPAP and currently use it and it is needed, and he then stated the next sentence CPAP not required. I wont know the ramifications of these results until I receive my ratings (difference of 30-50%). If it doesn't apply to your unfit conditions for the Service you currently associate with then I have heard that you cannot appeal it during your MEB. I was informed by legal that since this is not an unfitting condition for service, I would have to VARR after service separation depending the outcome.

My best response would be to consult with your legal representative for your course of action to achieve the results you desire.

Just out of curiosity, do you have an idea how the Army rates the compartment syndrome? I'm in the same boat as you. I have compartment syndrome in both lower extremities and a fasciotomy of one of them and I just entered a med board for it.

I’ve heard they sometimes give 0-20% per leg for compartment syndrome. It isn’t listed as an actual condition that they rate, so they just go by how disabled the nerves are in your leg/ arm and how much it affects your daily life. I still haven’t gotten my ratings back, but I’ll post what they rate my leg whenever I get them back.
