I called the PEB number, and they told me, it is also generally the day you are deemed to be "unfit."How did you determine when your post VA date was? my letter from VA is dated 22 JAN and I was told there was "movement on my package" on Feb 6th. FINGERS CROSSED!
Ive never gotten any "unfit" notification but I was told I am indeed in post VA QA. When that started it seems no one knows. UPDATE: Called the PEB and was confirmed that I went into QA on 06 Feb. Tbh, I don't even think that exact day matters. I thought I was going to be the next one in this forum that got the ratings as my VA case closed and I started QA before multiple people who have got their findings already. Allegedly mine is post VA/QA January 17. So, I do not know what to expect now, idk if there are different priorities or if some cases just require more work. Last I heard we have a shortage of Peblo's here in San Diego. I think that might have something to do with it also. All of us just want to move on with our lives. No way to plan anything leaving us eventually scrambling to get movers, kids out of school, prepare for a cross country drive, and the 10,000 other little things that will need to be done to finally "retire". Job hunting has been tough, tons of interest but when I cant give an exact date I will be available that pretty much ends the conversation... ya know.... right after they say some salary that is far beyond what you thought youd be getting. This med board, while I have lost my mind and body, is a blessing. No longer will my family live paychach to paycheck. No longer will we not have a fully funded emergency fund. No longer will we not be able to take a vacation every other year or so. No longer will we not be able to save for retirement. (Speaking of retirement, make sure you look at how much you will need to retire in X # of years. For us its nearly 5 million just to maintain a middle class lifestyle 200k per year in 2055. 1 million simply will not be enough for our generation to retire)

Just make sure to hound your PEBLO at least once a week until they come in. I have found through my process that my PEBLO (who was super responsive) would check the database when I called. And, if I didn't call, she would only check on Friday's. If you still don't receive any updates or any the information you want, go in person. They cannot turn you around if you are there.
