Navy Timeline - Millington, TN

I figured, my PEBLO is just lazy as hell and never gives any info. She didn't even grab my packet and she claimed the system was down and told me to wait 4 months before talking to her again.
Best to go in there and talk to her face to face. Force her hand and make her look at the database in front of you. The entire PEB portion can take 3-6 months from what I was told and what I have read in this forum. There is no way the QA portion should or would take 4 months.
I will say it is weird how they release findings. For example, reviewing mine yesterday, they were originally printed and drafted 23 Feb 2024. They were officially approved and signed 29 Feb 2024. Then they were released yesterday 06 Mar 2024.

I did go face to face, she just refused to help. I tried to contact the main PEBLO in Corpus Christi, but they said they longer provide updates to people. It does not seem worth calling the PEB because they are uninterested in helping. This leaves me sitting at 50 days in QA with no one offering help, or updates, and just waiting, along with a PEBLO who might not even notice when my findings come in because she "isn't" expecting them... Just waiting alone with no assistance other than referencing other people here who keep getting findings sooner. Sorry to rant to all of you but this sucks.

No need to apologize, you have every right to be upset and frustrated. I am frustrated for you and am here if you need to talk! Sounds like your PEBLO does not care about patients' well-being. Do you know by chance of any person in your area who has a similar timeline to you with the same and/or different PEBLO? If you do, then it might be beneficial to reach out and see if they have received updates. The Navy does not offer any oversight to this process, and it is conducted with such complacency and laxation. Would it almost be worth submitting an ICE complaint you think?

I contacted my Senator here and was met with total disgust. Maybe if you contacted your representative, you might see movements?? In the response, the military specialist stated "your MEB can take up to 15 months." They proceeded to tell me to "Be patient.", and that I "don't have a case to stand on."

That sounds about right from a military specialist. I do not know who my representative is but, I will look into finding out. There were 2 other people on my timeline at this base and they EAS'd already. The last guy was odd because his new EAS populated in MOL before he was even informed of his findings. Everything just seems like there is no real process and we are not even remotely a priority.

Your situation sounds like something your SgtMaj or CO would like to know about. They can definitely push some buttons. Also, have you tried reaching out to your case manager? You can also try reaching out to your PEB lawyer, they have given me a few updates here and there.

Just spoke to my peblo amd she said the PEB QA takes 4 months and for me to not expect to hear anything until middle to the end of May
This is some utter BS. MAYBE this could be said for the entire PEB portion... but even that is a bit of a stretch. QA is taking 30-60 days from reports here.

I wish I saved my lawyers contact when I spoke with them during the DBQ process because there is not a name or contact on any of my forms and my PEBLO states that I do not have one assigned. I also am unaware of who my case manager is as there is no contact on any of my paperwork. Literally not a single person in my command that I spoke to E-6 and below has any idea how the process works, and they do not understand why I never have answers. If my case goes beyond 60 days in the post QA stage, I am going to start calling everyone possible.

I would encourage you to talk with your DIVO at minimum and explain that you are struggling to find any resources and that your PEBLO is no help. Explain that you need some help from your command getting some answers. Most E6 and below, or even most in general, do not know the med board process. With that in mind you need to ask for assistance. Do you remember if your lawyer was in Camp Pendleton?

I was just able to find the number in my old emails, he is located in Corpus Christy Tx, hopefully he can provide some guidance but idk if they can see that status of packages or where they are.

They have access to the same reports as your PEBLO

They can. When I visited my lawyer in person he showed me online where they can see the case. It’s not in depth detail it only says notes and what stage the case is in and generic info but somethings better than nothing.

I called my legal rep and he said he does not have access to view anything in the system, I also called the main PEBLO in Corpus Christy that oversees the PEBLO on my base here and was told that they don't give out info anymore due to too many people calling. So, I guess I will just keep waiting. 95 days since VA closed and now 51 days since being found unfit.

My medical case manager for Limdu and PCM can see more info than I am giving. I don't think they can see as much as your Pebleo, but maybe able to give a more honest answert than what you have been given.

That’s wild. Not sure if they really don’t have access or don’t want to say but I 100% saw my Lawyer pull it up and show me on his computer. Turned the monitor so I could see it as well.

I think each area is different in how they run things. I see on here how some say their Peblo will have them contact weekly. In San Diego the Peblo's will tell you not to contact them at all and wait for them to call you. They do not like to get contacted at all!

Your timeline looks way overdue as well, I thought mine was bad... You got you proposed ratings about 20 days before I did.

The Peblo here in Tx gets super annoyed anytime you go to her office. There is also only 1 Peblo for the base so she likely has a lot of cases, but she won't tell anyone anything.

Honestly, with today's tech they can do an app with a tracker on the stages of your case. This would help with stopping so many calls and help the shorten staffed working on these cases.

My Family and I are over the process. I thought I’d be done before my EAS so I completed skillbridge and moved my Family home into our house. Now I’m back on station for months now and the Family is home. Just waiting daily for any updates to plan out the next moves but can’t. I understand the work load the process is but definitely could be a better way or tracking purposes for the member at least. Army has fast timelines, I guess the Marines just behind and so are our fellow Navy Sailors.

Or just have very explicit standards written out that include consequences to the services who do not comply, for example, 1-30 days past due is an additional 10%, 31-60 days past due is 20% etc. This could even be written to be immune from the offset. When things start costing the branches serious $$ they will get some oversight on the process and make darn sure its done on time. No reason post VA QA should take any longer than 30 days etc.
