NEW SLEEP APNEA RATINGS

Hello fellow service members and vets, how will the new VA ratings for sleep apnea which is supposed to be approved this summer, affect those of us still on medboard? If so are we going to be rated with the old rating schedule or the new rating schedule, I've seen a lot of conflicting opinions online, does anyone happen to have insight on this matter?

According to VA Sleep Apnea Rating Changes Coming: Veterans Must Act Fast, "Veterans with ratings or veterans seeking ratings under the current rating system should be safe from the proposed reduction, at least for now."
