New TRICARE Fee Increases

In case you haven't heard, Tricare Prime enrollment fees for new enrollments have been increased. The new fees are:

$260 - Individual
$520 - Family

Love it. Not really, but what else are you going to do? Healthcare costs a lot.

Not to take political sides here but you can also thank the Senator IF this goes through:

He's pushing for working age retirees to be ineligible for Tricare Prime. No bills have come out yet as this is just his recommendation, but I would hope there is at least a disability clause of some sort. Many service members (myself and many members here included) NEED that insurance and it is one of the few remaining benefits of retirement over severance.
