First, I want to thank everyone on this forum for clarification, support, and encouragement. It has meant more than words can convey during this time.
Yesterday, I received my decision from the Navy recommending that my separation be upgraded to retirement. I laughed, cried, had dinner with my family, made phone calls, and read it multiple times last night in disbelief. I also realize that others got their results yesterday and were denied, this weighs heavy on my heart for each one of you. At dinner last night, I realized just how drastically different my day had been compared to yours. Keep your heads up and keep fighting. I will post my detailed timeline in this thread later if it will help others who are waiting.
