Prior service with prior VA rating

I see where everyone is tracking open and closed cases through the VA website and app. I was prior service and when discharged received a VA rating.

I am now day 36 since my NARSUM was sent to PEB. I haven't heard anything and the VA site just shows my old rating and closed cases from 2003.

When I call they say there is an open case and have told me it is in the decision phase.

Has anyone else gone through something like this? Shouldn't there be an open case on the VA site for me?

I'm in a similar boat as guard and prior service entering meb/peb with an existing rating. What you are seeing is pretty normal.

Did you request the VA to review your existing ratings during this process or select to be evaluated for DoD purposes only? I'm DoD only.

The DAV can sometimes see a little more info within the VA system. Might visit with them and ask to look at your file. Not always helpful, but sometimes.
