i received my proposed ratings awhile ago and got 10%dod and 50%VA. My question is if the dod stays at ten or give me zero I know that's usually a severance check. Has anyone heard of the dod not giving a severance check even though you are found unfit and being kicked out.

As long as you are separated for medical reasons (not a result of admin sep, etc); no. However, if you somehow owe the DoD a chunk of money that could be another way that someones severance would be reduced.
