question regarding FPEB

we contested my husband's finding of fit about 17 days ago, and still no word [we hear this is normal] and we have requested a FPEB.

if they "grant" a FPEB, is it always a board you must attend, or do they sometimes call and say they looked it over after you contested it, and now they said 20% DOD and sending your stuff to the VA?

those are hypothetical numbers above, by the way.

my husband cannot travel due to his migraines; has anyone gone through having to do a FPEB but unable to travel to get there?

I have heard they do over the phone as well. But that's what I've only heard

ohhhh, okay - makes us a little more at ease about that part of it then. thank you, navycop.

do they give you the ratings right then and there, if you're found unfit?
