I have a retirement date of 30NOV23. I am being referred to Adapt for alcohol abuse. I am being retired because of MDD and alcohol abuse. Can they change my retirement date or take it away and admin sep me?

Have you talked to your command yet? Anything is possible until you retire.
They said they don't know. Can you get kicked out for something you are being retired for?
It wouldn't make sense to do that but you know how the military is. Since you are 8 days away I would continue to prepare for getting out. I think as of now the worst case would be to extend you for the program. If command can't answer your questions I would consult JAG in the meantime as they can give you advice on possible outcomes.
