100% VA 100% Army..... I know the VA rating pay is off of the rating, marital/dependant status. Other than tricare and getting a blue id card, what else does the 100% Army mean? 18yrs afs.....

Depending what your base pay is the 100% Army would mean you can pick between 75% of your high 3 year base pay (taxable) or 100% tax free from the va based off your status as you said. A lot of the benefits depends on what state you live in and if you end up getting 100% permanent and total (will have to wait until you get your ratings finalized after you retire to find out). For an example 100% P&T in Florida you don't have to pay any property taxes and all dependents get free college.

Good info, thanks. E7 high three at 75% would be about the same as the VA payment.... Might have to go tax free.
