Currently one year post med ret. 50%. Condition stabilized. Back to normal. No surgeries or pain. Just some good PT. Got two civilian orthos who could write me a clearance letter in support of rejoining. Injury was two years ago actually. But took almost a year for the PEB and then been separated for a year so 2.
1. If I want to rejoin, do I go through another med board, this time trying to find me “ fit? “ And do I do my reevaluation at my local VA?
2. Could I rejoin another branch while on TDRL? One recruiter told me I needed to wait one year post med retirement which has already come up. Confusing bc I think I’m still on Navy orders?
3. If I do get found fit, I’m assuming I apply for a new dd214, change my re code from a 3, and then ??? Call the va and suspend deposits?
