SAF office review for Med Retirement rank

Checking to see if anyone has experience with SAF office reviews.

I was an E-7 for 2.5 yrs and was demoted due to a MH episode/trouble with law enforcement.
Date of E-6 was May 2023

I am currently 70% DOD Cmbt Related and 100% VA TDRL awaiting orders CAO 17 July.
Also, does rank affect CRSC?

Your chapter 61 pension goes off of your highest 36 months pay totaled together. Then divide by 36 to get your High 3 that is multiplied by your DOD%

As for CRSC, rank doesn't affect it. CRSC only utilizes the VA's disability pay chart. The answer is that it won't affect any of the CRSC numbers regarless of rank etc.

You're ahead of me slightly, but same situation. Grade determination at SAF. Have you received yours back yet? There's no timeline for this step.
 
I am in a similar situation as well. I figured it would be impossible to get my rank back, but is this really a viable option? I will follow the thread, please let us know how this unfolds.
 
I have not heard back yet, I sent an email to SAF/MRBD today and will let you know if I have the right office. I'm currently hired and working a civilian job while on terminal leave so i hope that this does not take an additional 6 months.

I wish you the best with your situation. I understand that it is difficult.

I can't get orders until this is done - how are you on terminal without orders?
 
I did skill bridge with a follow-on hire. I am also local and working at Hill AFB depot so can report when needed. 3 mo burned for VA testing, then was approved 3 mo skillbridge=6mo. VA results 100% w/70% DoD cmbt related came out during skillbridge. they cleared me to get hired and burn terminal while waiting for orders, i had 66 days terminal which started Aug 5th.

Now "kinda freaking out" while waiting for SAF review which just popped up when they started orders processing. was notified of SAF review after hire.

I e-mailed 4 org boxes labeled as SAF/MRBP, which I believe to be SAFPC based on PDDGs and organizational structures I found online. I'll let you know if I get a response.
 
The correct org box for SAFPC is [email protected]. They were kind enough to reply to my inquiry and give me some dates.

"Your case was received by SAFPC on 21 Aug 2024. Current processing time for cases adjudicated by SAFPC is approximately 30 days so you should expect a decision NLT 30 Sept 2024."

Received my letter today, I'm an E-7 again.
My PEBLO also sent an updated pre separation retirement worksheet for me to fill out and said he would send it up today.

I wish you all the best with this process. command was notified of MEB findings 17 July, this process took about 6-7 weeks for me. CAO 11 Sep,
