Notification of full MEB w/ peblo: 14 June 24
Finish VA exams: 15 Aug 24
Exams sent to peblo and 618 signed: 28 Oct 24
Myfss email received: 29 Oct 24

Anyone going through similar and have expected timelines? I didn't expect it to take so long for my exams to come back and my MEB to be sent up, originally I was anticipating being out by Dec per me peblo but it's seeming that is not the case anymore.

Mine is similar and I was also looking towards being out at the end of Dec but I keep seeing crazy timelines.

Have you hear anything since then? I was hoping the AFPC portion to make sure it was correct would be quick and it would get forwarded to IPEB within a week or two but I can't find anything on that part of the timeline

I haven't heard anything from AFPC since I got the initial email. I just assumed it was quick and forwarded to the IPEB quickly but like you I havent been able to find anything. My PEBLO refuses to give me updates.
 
My claims finished in August. VA received claims 5 Sept. MyFSS notified me 16 Sept. I’m currently on step 3/5 with the VA and my PEBLO has not heard anything from AFPC. I was expecting December as well. My MEB started back in April or March, I would have to refer to my earlier posts for exact dates. My PEBLO said expect 6-8 months and that I’m at 4 1/2 months into the process. Not sure if that helps you
 
My peblo doesn't give me any update on information either. They wait until they hear back to speak with you. The whole process is annoyingly frustrating because all the separation/transition things tell you to plan according to your timeline, but we get no timeline until it is the last minute. I thought the MSO with the VA would be helpful but he says they don't do anything outside of the exams. I hate that we are expected to get our lives together in such a short time with practically zero guidance

How are you seeing your VA status?
 
I don’t have a status showing on mine. I’ve called the VA and my PEBLO but they told me it won’t appear until it’s finished.

I don’t think that’s true, unless something changed recently. Everyone I know can see their claim status on the site or app.

Man my fss email came in on OCT2nd and I'm still waiting on ratings. So I'm going to shed some light on this for you. I was told the way the IPEB works is they make a decision within 2 weeks or so weather you are fit or unfit for duty, if you're found unfit for duty they will send a request to the VA to get your claims rated. Once thoes ratings are returned to the IPEB they can make their final determination on weather you will get medically retired or separated. At that point they send their decisions and your ratings for you to review. The problem is the VA is backed up and what usually takes them 3 to 4 weeks for ratings is now taking them 8 to 12 weeks. Its not the holidays its the sheer number of cases they vurrently have due to the pact act and all the navy cases that were loaded in a few months ago. I'm praying I hear something within the next week or two but chances are I wont get my ratings untill december. My MEB was initiated in Feb. But take this with a grain of salt because every case is different.
 
I don't have anything showing on my VA account either. Some people say they show a case in myfss as well but I haven't had anyhthing appear in either one
 
I called the VA and they said it was concluded that my MEB package was complete but they are still working on the proposed ratings. I also asked if they could update it on my VA.gov account so I will see if that fixes within a few days.

Wait, they told you they are working on your ratings? I called the VA today and they said they still haven't received an unfit decision from the IPEB, so they can't do the proposed ratings yet and I went up on 24OCT.

I called them today and they told me they are in the decision phase (step 5 out of 8) for me and my MEB case went to the IPEB last week. Unsure if they are still waiting for the IPEB to make a decision for unfit/fit.
 
Called the VA again this morning with the same info, case is with IDES but no proposed rating has been finalized yet.
 
What number are you calling to speak with the VA? My PEBLO and MSC are dead ends. Ive been in the process since December 23
