Did you have to repay your severance with finding on final orders in section V4 being YES? Was it taxed?
My PEBLO at Ft. Riley told me no, 3 years ago. But today the person I spoke to at ABCMR says Yes. Who’s correct?
If the disability occured in a combat zone, it is not recouped. If you are rated by the VA for the same code as the code used to sever you, it is not taxed.
Would you be able to clarify that a little further? I’m still waiting on my severance, but DFAS kicked it back in audit saying it needed to be taxed. My memo says v1-no v2-no V4-yes
