Severence

I had someone tell me that if you rate over 30% you still get a partial severence. Is this true or just another Sea Lawyer telling stories. I would think you wouldn't get both.

Not so! If you get 30% or higher, you get retirement pay.

look up on google chapter 11-disability and it should come up [pdf] Chapter 11 - disability. then look for the headings TYPE OF SEPARATION and DISABILITY RETIRED OR SEVERANCE PAY
