Hello all,
I recently had my C&P for a TBI and I want to stay proactive and be prepared in case I do not agree with my NARSUM.
My question is do migraines get added to the TBI percentage rating or do migraines get rated separately?

1. Diagnosis
------------
Does the Veteran now have or has he/she ever had a traumatic brain injury (TBI) or any residuals of a TBI?
(This is the condition the Veteran is claiming or for which an exam has been requested)
[X] Yes [ ] No
[X] Traumatic brain injury (TBI) ICD code: S06.2x91
Date of diagnosis: 2017
[X] Other diagnosed residuals attributable to TBI, specify:
Other diagnosis #1: Migraine ICD code: G43
Date of diagnosis: 2018
4. Prostrating attacks of headache pain
---------------------------------------
a. Migraine / Non-Migraine- Does the Veteran have characteristic prostrating attacks of migraine / non-migraine headache pain?
[X] Yes [ ] No If yes, indicate frequency, on average, of prostrating attacks over the last several months:
[X] Once every month

The rest of the TBI portion of the C&P is really lacking detail. Based on what I know about how ratings are decided, my C&P did not paint a good picture of my condition.
Thanks to anyone with advice!
PS this process has opened my eyes to how difficult veterans have it especially ones who cannot function like they once did.
