I got a paper from my peblo saying that its based on your base pay not regular disability pay. Is this true?

6 years TIS
minimum of 50% to a maximum of 75% of base pay while in TDRL

or if I got my DoD & VA ratings for example 70%DoD 80%VA and placed on TDRL will I get the disability pay or is it based on my base pay

For you, DoD pension is based on a 36 month average of base pay. While on TDRL you receive a minimum of 50% of that amount. If your VA compensation is higher than DoD pension, you receive the VA compensation instead. If eligible for CRSC, you might receive some of the DoD pension as well.

If DoD pension is higher, you receive your VA compensation tax free and the remainder of your DoD pension taxed.

Thank you. So its whatever is higher. Got ya.
