Hello,

Please provide all of the following;

--CRSC percentage approved
--Total active duty months and years OR active duty equivalent

1. What is the amount of your VA compensation.

2. Guard time that is active duty equivalent is TOTAL POINTS/360 = equivalent active duty time.
Your CRSC cannot be computed without that into.

3. Your former unit should have the info at item 2. You should have been provided it as well.

Edited to add:
The following is from the disability retirement orders of a NG solider:
a. Disability retirement: 11 Year(s), 04 Month(s), 29 Day(s)
b. Basic Pay: 30 Year(s), 03 Month(s), 14 Day(s)

What is shown on your retirement orders for"Disability Retirement"?

Hello Charles,

Estimate using your info
.

1. 2302/0.70 = 3290 high three
2. retired pay reduced to zero by amount of VA compensation
3. 6.83 active duty years x 0.025 = 17.08% longevity multiplier
4. 3290 x 0.1708 = 561.93 longevity portion of retired pay
5. CRSC = 561.93

CRSC for a chapter 61 retiree with less than 20 years active duty cannot exceed the longevity portion of retired pay.
