This entire forum/website is an invaluable resource for all of us going through this process. Having that said, I figured I would add my piece to this forum/website to give help to those who need it. Granted, this is Marine Corps specific so Marine's specifically going through the threat of BCP administrative separation while in the IDES feel free to private message me. I have developed a package in defense of the threat for administrative separation that is a multi-phased systematic approach to exercising your rights and to respectfully and formally inform the command of the rules and regulations regarding the concurrent BCP/non-punitive administrative separation for BCP. I know this may sound like a stretch, but it actually is possible to reason with your battalion commander even though the current request mast policies do not authorize requesting mast in lieu of the administrative separation process. The key is not requesting mast on the basis of the administrative separation process based on the verbiage used in the order. Basically, I just wanted to post this in the forum to let anyone having an issue with this that I am available to help them. I will give you all the documents you need to speak with your battalion commander, etc. I have recently won this battle, so I thought I would help those in the same situation. So most definitely let me know if you are running across this situation because I would love to help since everyone on here has been such a good help.
