Strictly VA a side. I did what you did and just called the VA to see if they’d tell me and they did. Still waiting on DOD
Outstanding!! Even though I don't know you, I am happy for you!!! Lol. Yes, now we should get a ring any day now about the DOD rating. -_-

Just a slight Update! I finally got a hold of one of the PEBLOs in Washington and he told me my package was at the QA stage and informed me they should be sending the findings to my PEBLO within 2 weeks give or take. so those of you along my same timeline. I would expect that y'alls are also in the same stage as well!!

Outstanding!!! Wow that gives me hope!! I’ve been losing it these past few days. I’ve been trying to contact them and got nothing! Thanks so much for sharing!

Hi, I'm curious about something. My PEBLO contacted me last week(17 MAY)and informed me that the PEB found me unfit and my case was being sent to the VA for ratings(which could take up to 90 days according to my PEBLO). I currently have a 100% VA rating for the same condition I'm being boarded for. Is there a likelihood that having an existing rating could shorten the turnaround time?

If that claim is the only one you claimed I would think so. Did you have additional new claims with the old one?

Yeah, it's the only condition that I claimed.
Oh well I don't think that should take long at all especially if you have already been rated prior. I mean of course I cant say for sure but my opinion it should be quicker than most IDES claims through Va.

Yeah, that's kinda what I was thinking as well. I'm guessing my PEBLO told me that so that I wouldn't get to anxious about the process, at least that's my assumption. So far things have been moving pretty quickly considering I just started the process in March of this year. My PEBLO told me my case is pretty straightforward.

Ok so weird, I check ebenefits this morning, and my claim seems to have gone backwards from Step 6 back to Step 5. Is that normal?

if there is an issue with the paper work or anything along those lines. it'll get sent back to the previous step.

Ok, so I checked ebenefits today, which routed me to VA.GOV to check the status of my claim. It says that my claim was closed. For what it's worth, I'm already at 100%. The claim was for an increase. Would it be safe to assume that the increase was obviously denied, and that my rating will remain the same? Hoping my PEBLO reaches out to me soon. I'm expecting/hoping to hear something from him by next week.

**UPDATE** My PEBLO called me and I went to receive findings. DOD 10% VA 80%. Not the best DOD findings news but I am just glad that it is done so I can get rolling. Blessings to you all!
