Update for those watching: I called yesterday and got proposed rating of 90%. Hadn't been the full 10 mailing days since the claim closed(sequential day 8), guess I just got the right guy to talk to.

I just went from VA received my case to closed claim in 29 days.

-11/14/2017 package sent up, found unfit same day -01/02/2018 VA has received my package -01/27/2018 pending decision approval -01/31/2018....case goes historical today waiting to hear back from my peblo now what my ratings are whenever they come in. im expecting ~3...

CLAIM WENT COMPLETE! woooooooooooo. dont know a percentage yet. i tried looking everywhere, maybe ebenefits hasnt updated it yet. and this is funny, VETS.gov actually updated my claim status first before ebennies(by about half an hour).

i just refreshed mine and the open claim had disappeared, said nothing to show. refreshed and there it is again and again. open and awaiting action. FML is it trying to tell me something! halp! lol

im going to guess itll be taxed at the same rate federally and state levels. so like 30% combined? maybe not on your payment but it is income. keep an eye out at the end of the year.
