The only number on their website doesn’t work lol. What was the last update you received?Does anyone have the phone number for the PEB? I'm to the point that I'm just going to start stirring the pot.
Update: Just found out my case has been with the Presiding Officer since April 8.I've been monitoring forums here for a couple months, so thought I would post a timeline of my own.
Legal Brief: Aug 19
VA Claim begins: Aug 23
VA Initial review: Aug 24
VA Evidence gathering, review, and decision: Sep 16
QTC exams submissions: Oct 5 (completed approximately a month before final submission by doctors)
Signed board docs for PEB submission: Oct 14
Submitted to PEB: Oct 19
Received by PEB: Oct 20
I have only one referred condition and it seems pretty cut and dry. Personal history of Traumatic Brain Injury without ability to differentiate symptoms from PTSD (which should be rated at 70%). Does anyone have experience with VA ratings for TBI? It will be rated below 30% DOD threshold for retirement if PTSD is not rated with TBI. For fitness determinations, will the PTSD C&P exam be taken into consideration by the PEB? NARSUM is supportive of my intent to leave the military. I understand that I may not receive my initial findings until April, but I have a current job offer and have begun grad school and an internship to kill some time until my findings are received.
Have any of you had any success with requesting case to be expedited considering current job offer? My PEBLO has been infuriating and pretty unsupportive.
My PEBLO's response when I ask about the status of my case: "I don’t monitor daily movements or decisions made at the PEB nor do I want to. I would never get any work done or have any Peace in my work and personal life." Her name is Stacey Humphrey out of Camp Lejeune. I only reach out to her every month or so, which I consider more than appropriate.
Do I have any fellow Marines with a similar timeline? If so, what have you heard?
Our timeline is similar, with the PEB receiving the case on the same dates. I was told that my status was unfit, but they couldn't tell if retirement or separation. Additionally, I haven't received my potential VA ratings. Did you try to get them to amend your board to add your PTSD? I'm on a board for TBI. However, I had them specifically call out my migraines and loss of visual acuity. Unfortunately, my Psych wouldn't add a mental health addendum, and my neurologist wouldn't because it was out of his realm.I've been monitoring forums here for a couple months, so thought I would post a timeline of my own.

I tried to get them too. I addressed it several times with MH provider, lawyer, and PEBLO. Nothing seemed to work to get PTSD added. Migraines were on there but taken off by the MEB.Our timeline is similar, with the PEB receiving the case on the same dates. Peblo's are overworked ATM. However, my experience hasn't been great either. Mine hasn't contacted me since my case was sent to the PEB in October.
How did you get your proposed ratings before your findings? I was found unfit on the 8th and still no word on my findings.Where in the proposed rating does it say P&T or TDRL? I can't find it and was curious if there is specific wording I should be looking for?
I put in a FOIA request back in November. My case was submitted to PEB back in Oct. It was processed before DOD finished their end.How did you get your proposed ratings before your findings? I was found unfit on the 8th and still no word on my findings.
I honestly have no idea. I don't get detailed updates from my PEBLOAs of Tuesday I am with Third Officer (5 days). How long do you think until I get my fitness determination?
Damn hope I get mine soon…. Haven’t gotten update since May 11th when VA sent proposed BEL. Just waiting on DoD to match rating now and send to PEBLO for me to signReceived findings today. UNFIT, 0% DOD, 100% VA P&T. Tax free severance. Will not have to repay to VA.

Definitely not what I expected. It's astonishing to think that I was found unfit for a 0% rating. $92k tax free severance would be nice but missing out on health insurance.

My MSC said I got 100% but they still have one more condition to rate. I guess what happened was that I had 100% without this extra condition so they went ahead and sent to BEL to PEB anyways. She said it didn’t state P&T or no P&T but she thinks that is because I still had another claim they have to finish. Hoping it is P&TReceived findings today. UNFIT, 0% DOD, 100% VA P&T.
