Yes, legal does take precedence. That's if if you broke the law and they are processing you for that. However, say they are trying to ADSEP you for not meeting height and weight standards then MEDBOARD takes precedence. If the ADSEP if for not meeting standards and nothing to do with the law...
Another way to find your proposed ratings is to call the VA directly. Some workers there wont be willing to look it up for you so you have to call until you get the right person to tell you your proposed ratings. That worked for me
Great move, hope all goes well. I have had surgery for separated ligaments in my ankle and been doing physical therapy for over a year and still no luck on reduction of pain. seeing all of my options and likely going to continue even after i get out.
If i were you, I would definitely try and follow through with any treatment you require, your health and well being is more important than serving. Theres still potential to serve depending on your recovery. Definitely file for disability if the surgery doesn't help like it should.
I am in the USMC and currently going through the IDES process. My referred condition is for right ankle instability. My case is currently at the PEB and I was wondering if anyone else has went to the PEB for this specific condition and if you were found fit or unfit? Thank you
