I had to keep calling the psychiatrist and ask for updates. Mine kept going on leave which prolonged it for also 2 months. It was extremely annoying. My commander is great and was able to also reach out to them so I’d definitely try if they are helpful!
Oh dang!! Yeah they should extend again for you if you chose to take the 20 permissive days. The separation date is always based off the leave + permissive days from what I understand from the PEBLO
My original separation date was September 2024 but they didn’t have to do anything. The PEBLO gave me the form that it said how much leave I had in leaveweb and then it said + 20 for permissive and how the separation date would be calculated. They gave me the 30 leave days + 20 permissive and...
Yay!!!!!! I had 30 days of leave and then they gave me 20 days of permissive which pushed my date to May. Congratulations!! Definitely one of the best feelings ever!!
Thank you!!! We are almost outta here! Congrats to you too!! :)
My orders came yesterday by the end of the duty day but I wasn't at work so I didn't see them until today. Now just waiting on the out-processing checklist to be loaded but was told it should be by the end of the day. Hoping...

Yes! It was definitely the best news I could have ever received. She did have my social wrong though on one form that I didn’t catch till I got home and it was the one form that talks about your leave and what the separation date will be based off so hopefully it’s an easy fix. Definitely verify...
Omg that’s good!!! No my peblo was calling me and told me to come in and sign my findings if I choose to and that’s when she told me what they were, in person.
Thank you!!! I only had one disqualifying condition which was bipolar type 2 and I made sure I knew what the DBQ sheet said and the VA person for that selected “total occupational and social impairment” and told them it only happened during my service. So happy
Same!! The PEBLO always mentions being able to fight anything along the way but I don't have the energy. My MEB process started almost a year ago and it's been so exhausting
Yep! That is when everything is complete with the PEB if you choose to accept the ratings. The letter in the mail will only contain the VA rating I believe. I've seen people get the PEB ratings within days of the VA one once the case is closed so hoping this week for some news!
Depending on what happens first, the PEBLO will call and say what your DoD/VA rating is. But if the mail arrives before AFPC finishes their rating, then you'll only know your VA rating from the mail. I haven't got either yet
