Well, I like to have an idea of what's going on based on some sort of data, and this is one of the ways I stay sane. If you send me your numbers/updates, I'll add them as best as possible. Let me know if it helps or if you want me to remove you. Thanks and good luck!

Love this! I did end up having an extra C&P schedule on 17 Nov 25 after the VA did my ratings. Don’t wanna screw up your table bc that’s def a weird one off it seems, but it surely affected how long it took my stuff to even get to the MEB. Fingers crossed yours makes it faster than mine did!! Sucks having to sit on your hands and wait as a Type A person haha

Thanks! I changed it for my Friday post. I noticed on multiple people's timelines that there were challenges that restarted their timelines to some extent. Redoing C&Ps, bad paperwork, new C&Ps for new issues discovered during C&Ps... etc. I hope I stay away from that, but I already foresee a couple of issues.

Friday's updates! There was some movement for at least one person. Congrats to Zazoo on your retirement and the next chapter! Several others should be completing the IPEB very soon as well. I added average and median timelines. Once more people get their orders, I'll drop those #s as well.

Another Friday down. I added one person, and there was movement on a couple of others regarding orders, completing the IPEB, and completing the MEB. Looking ahead, there should be a lot of people getting through the IPEB next week if the numbers on this tracker are correct. I should be done with the MEB next week as well. Remember, the median isn't moved too far in either direction by outliers, unlike the average, so unless you have a unique situation, I would consider the median over the average. Good Luck!

AD Air Force, 22.5 Years, notified 31 Jul for consideration of IDES. Case discussed locally, then sent to San Antonio in late Aug (approximately). FL-4 received 6 Oct notifiying of MEB. C&P Exams scheduled on 17 Oct and Exams conducted between 4 Nov and 4 Dec. Somehow, my file just got left alone for a while so I reached out to the VA on 11 Jan to ask if there was any status. They said the provider for my Gen Med had not sent the results in. Reached out to Leidos QTC case manager who confirmed that they didn't see the report from the provider but that their QA department had reached out several times but 'the holidays may have slowed things down'. 13 Jan received notification from PEBLO that my C&P Exams had been received and the AF Docs were reviewing. 16 Jan I got the DBQs back along with forms to sign acknowledging them and signed NARSUM on 16 Jan. PEBLO submitted these to Ranodlph on 16 Jan and I received an email from MyFSS acknowledging that the case has been submitted. 21 Jan I received a call form Leidos QTC that the VA had requested additional information about if I was taking medication during one of the C&P exams and said that was all they needed. 22 Jan VA sent me an email that I would receive a call from Leidos regarding C&P exams (likely the call I received the day prior). Looked in VA app and can see that on 21 Jan "Your claim moved into Step 1: Claim received" and on the same day "Your claim moved into Step 5: Closed". Unsure what that means, but that brings me current. Anyone ever seen them receive and entirely review more than 330 pages of DBQs and go from step 1 to step 5 of 5 in one day? A bit confused as I thought there were 8 steps. Perhaps this is the wrong forum for that discussion but this at least brings my info up to speed for your table if you want to add mine in and I'll update things as I get them.

Yikes, 22.5 years.... Based on my "Limited" understanding, you finished the MEB on 16 January, and your PEBLO sent your package to the IPEB. Seems like your claim is with a rater in the VA, and they should be working on your proposed ratings to send back to the PEB so they can offer you a DoD/VA proposed decision.

I’ve seen on other people’s posts that it is normal for it to show as going through the steps 1-5 in one day. I think they are working on it in the background and just put it in their system all at once, that’s why it shows like this.
From what I understand , while we’re still active and going through the ides system, Step 5 is the last step until we separate, then the remaining steps 6-8 are completed and we get our decision letters/start getting paid.

Hope the rest of your case goes smoothly! I’m in the same spot you are, hoping for it all to be over soon.

Thanks for the positive reinforcement. I've been (much like many others, I'm sure) pretty anxious about it all. I'm ready for the transition. My Commander's Impact Statement articulated a very compelling case for retirement, and I concurred it. Both of the referred conditions seemed to be substantiated in the DBQs I reviewed, although the one for my knee I feel like the provider exaggerated the ROM numbers... I was keen on listening to what he said for that specific knee because of it being referred and he put 90* on the DBQ but said something more like 40* out loud. He and I had a personality conflict regarding one of the claimed conditions because he misinterpretted one of the conditions and I let him know that I would appreciate if he would take a second look at what he was saying I didn't have which he didn't appreciate. Oh well, here we are.. fingers crossed for good news soon. Have a great weekend!

Appreciate you doing this, this has been helpful for a lot of people!

Just a suggestion (or to add context) for the total # of days, the # of days from IPEB completion->orders can vary a lot depending on amount of leave someone may have. Someone may have completed the IPEB and finaled out a couple of weeks after that but their retirement/separation date will be way after that depending on how many days of leave they have and if the CC authorized PTDY (usually retirement only).

Thanks for the feedback. I will make sure to clarify that I mean orders in hand for the IPEB --> Orders and total days only counting the completion of the final C&P to orders in hand.

No problem! Its also hard for you because you are going off of what other people post and they might not clarify what them mean when they say they have their orders. It would be nice if the AF would have a system that tracked MEBs and could report publicly the average # of days........

Happy Thursday! All changes highlighted in yellow. Congrats to elli634 on your retirement! Early post because I might be too busy tomorrow. If there is a government shutdown, it can affect all timelines. Good luck!

I did talk to my PEBLO about the shutdown yesterday, and she thinks there will be minimal impact! There’s at least 3 case managers that are considered essential, and they apparently have some volunteer case workers (??). Idk how many they NORMALLY have, but she was very positive, so I’m just going to lean on that haha

Does this mean case managers at your base are essential or case managers at AFPC? Desperate for any positivity at this point lol
