I'm currently being processed and curious about how lengthy recent Med Boards have been. I really want to attend college in the fall and I have been accepted, but my PEBLO keeps telling me he is completely unsure about everything right now. I just wanna know what y'all think the possibility that everything is done by August is?

Timeline:
31DEC25 - Initial Intake With 1st PEBLO
06JAN26 - Attorney Intake
16JAN26 - Contacted By 2nd PEBLO
19JAN26 - Scheduled Meeting With Attorney
20JAN26 - Case Accepted by VA

Currently waiting to be contacted by VA for scheduling.

I'll be honest with you mate, I started my MEB in April of last year, I got my findings Dec 30th, signed and sent to PERS Jan 7th and got my retirement soft orders today, 23 JAN to retire 15 MAR. Now if the government shut down didn't happen it would have probably been sooner, my exams were in June of last year. In your situation, barring any other shut downs, you'll be cutting it close if everything goes smooth. If there are hiccups along the way, forget about that start time.

Well, I hope that everything goes well then. It's it possible that it takes less time if I'm okay with the Informal PEB findings?

yea that helps, from what I've seen a formal PEB usually only adds another 30 days tops.

I'm sorry for not updating this sooner, but I'm actually on terminal leave awaiting retirement on June 25th! Registering for classes soon!
