Have you turned in your Ret/Sep package to your Admin? If not then that package needs to be given to PSD before orders or DD-214 are done.

Nothing needs to be done but it’s best to get that Sep/ret package done because that package is needed to get you orders and DD-214 from PSD.

If it does get taxed contact DFAS and they can have you fill out a form from what I’ve heard. But per instruction you qualify to have it tax free.
