Yeah I just received my final paycheck this morning

Hello, is there anyone here that can tell me how long it took y’all to get your final AD paycheck after your separation/retirement date ? Ik they hold it just in cause of outstanding balances but I’m looking for other timelines other than the scripted “30-45 days.

Hey have you gotten your final paycheck from dfas yet ? Trying to see how long it takes after my retirement date to receive it cause ik they hold it to make sure I have no outstanding balances or whatever.

Just wanted to post updates for future viewers: June 25, 2024: received findings June 28, 2024: signed findings and PEBLO sent them off July 09, 2024: received Separation Authorization message/retirement date; which is Aug 30,2024.

That’s ridiculous ! I’m gonna have to make sure I contact my ppl on a weekly basis so my doesn’t slip through either.

2 months ?!, I hope it doesnt take that long for my retirement orders to drop ! I signed my findings on June 28 & my PEBLO said it usually only takes 2-3 weeks for them to come back. You might want to try to contact admin to see if it came in & they just overlooked it or something cause 2 months...

Okay, how long after you signed your findings did it take you to get your retirement date/EAS ?

Have you gotten your separation authorization message yet ? Also, who will give us this message ? PEBLO ? MSC ?

Right, now I’m hope they don’t take long to give me my retirement date

*80% DOD, & I’m not gonna submit the claims till I’m out cause I’m not willing to go through the appeal cause that could take another 3-6 months and I’m ready to just be out already tbh

My Narsum was sent April 22,2024, and I actually just got my findings today ! Just wanting on that retirement date now !

Yes, it shows all of your claimed conditions. I waited about 6 weeks for my NARSUM to come back after my PEBLO sent it to PEB.

Ohh okay, also how do you check LIMDU Smart ? Is that a website to track your PEB status ?

No you won’t be able to see your proposed ratings before you get your Narsum, only after your claim closes.

Yes, once it says that your Va claim has closed on the VA website then I would give it a day and then call the VA and ask them to email you your proposed rating, but it will only say what the Va will rate you. You won’t get the DOD rating until you get your findings back.
