    Navy Timeline - Millington, TN

I have sent a message to my Congressman this afternoon, there is absolutely no reason it should be taking this long to process PEB's. If anything, imagine being this far behind on 3M maintenance, you would be working 12 on 12 off 7 days a week.

    Navy Timeline - Millington, TN

So how many months after your final proposed ratings have you been waiting on the Navy's decision? My VA claim has been closed and I have my propsed VA ratings letter, is it about 6 months from then? Or is "QA" starting the day the PEB receives your ratings?

    Navy Timeline - Millington, TN

Has anyone reached out to their Congressional Representative for a congressional inquiry? It seems like this process is truly zero accountability on behalf of the Navy. No way should there be people waiting more than a few weeks after their VA ratings are returned. I mean, how hard is it to A...

    AD/AF MEB Timeline

Thankfully I havent been waiting but a few weeks at this point but there is absolutely zero oversight or accountability over our process. No way it takes that long to line up VA ratings with DoD and give a decision. Literally a 10 minute review for the board I would imagine.

    AD/AF MEB Timeline

(cries in Navy) our IPEB alone is taking some people 180 or more days.

    Received VA Proposed Rating

Yeah thats not gonna happen, 4700 a month from VA vs. an E6 @13yrs.

    Received VA Proposed Rating

Is there any benefit to a 100% DoD Rating other than tricare and guaranteed 75% of pay with offset?

It shouldn't but this is typical Navy.

    IDES Timeline Camp Lejeune

If you log in to VA.gov or on the VA APP you can see that your claim is closed. However, it will not show that it has been received, only once its closed will you be able to see it. If you call the VA hotline and get the right person they will usually send your decision letter to you as you...

    IDES Timeline Camp Lejeune

Im convinced they give random timelines because there have been people waitin 2.5-3months being told wait another 3 months..... meanwhile it seems most are getting results in 60ish days.

    IDES Timeline Camp Lejeune

MEB makes sense as it is many of the Doctors 100th priority after seeing all their patients. However, the PEB is a set group of Officers, both line officers and medical corps officers, whose entire job it is to loook over the cases and ajudicate them. Like Ive said before, imagine being months...

    IDES Timeline Camp Lejeune

It sounds like whoever answers at the PEB is giving random time frames, this makes no sense. I absolutely CANNOT WAIT to get out, Ive got my VA rating and see how much better life is going to be outside of this outfit. I cant imagine it takes that long to process a case, fit or unfit? No, okay...

    IDES Timeline Camp Lejeune

Its crazy to see some people waiting upwards of 5-6 months for their PEB results. Isnt the current timeline around 60ish days?

    LDES: PEB FINDINGS TIMELINE

I could be wrong but I can only assume the same PEB looks at LDES and IDES cases with the differences being the VA rating vs. PEB rating of conditions. Currently it seems the PEB is taking around 60ish days, which raises significant questions about your case. Have you called the PEB?

So youre looking at about 6 weeks total? Thats really fast if so.

    Navy Timeline - Millington, TN

That would be extremely fast. Im not expecting anything until middle to end of March. Unless the Navy finally got their stuff together and actually started processing cases in a timely fashion. Where do you all see youre in QA? My ratings were sent to the VA the 22nd as well.

    Bremerton Timeline

not a lot really, couple hundred bucks. Now, there are some SMC's that pay like 10k a month but that is for quadriplegics and other very severe disabilities. Im doing my best to convince myself I have what it takes to hold a job. Just let me hold one for long enough I can build my cabin and pay...

    Bremerton Timeline

SMC is "Special Monthly Compensation". There are a number of different things that rate SMC. I the case of SMC-S, I have one disability rated at 100% and a combined rating of over 60% with the remaining conditions. SMC-S is considered "housebound" whether you are housebound or not. SMC-K is for...
